From the moment everything comes into full bloom to the lazy days of hot summer, we make jam from all of the fruits in season - this is our favorite time of year. . .
When the short cherry season arrives, we take the sweetest cherries, mix them with local honey and our favorite sweet Balsamic Vinegar to make Cherry with Honey & Balsamic Vinegar jam. This one pairs well with everything from grilled meats to some sausage in your picnic basket.
We take these delectable cherries and simply add some organic star anise to make our Cherry with Star Anise. It's a rich, exotic treat for ice cream or simply out of the jar.
When the Rainier cherries ripen, we lightly cook them for our Rainier Cherry with Almond.
Our Peach with Rose Wine & Organic Cinnamon and Peach with Lavender features the most delicious peaches we've ever tasted from our favorite farmers in the area. We took one bite and as the juices dripped down our chins - we thought, "These taste like candy!"
Summer would not be summer, without apricots. We think of our travels near the Mediterranean and make our favorite Apricot with Honey & Pistachio jam.
When our neighbors roses bloom literally by the hundreds, we pick fresh petals and make our own Rose Jelly. This one is always excellent over a light cheese or chocolate cake.
We love it when summer berries come available and we can make our very limited edition Blackberry spread.
And for a light, spicy summer treat, we mix fresh Lemongrass with Ancho Chili powder. We glaze meats with it on the BBQ and mix it up for sauces. |
